PC4HS Pledges Annual Support of Healthy Schools Campaign- Attends Inaugural Green Clean Schools Leadership Summit

By PC4HS Staff

Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools® (PC4HS) − a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission of “schools helping schools” – has pledged to continue its annual support of the Healthy Schools Campaign’s (HSC’s) work and principles, and will attend HSC’s inaugural Green Clean Schools Leadership Summit in Seattle, July 30-31.

According to PC4HS Founder Rex Morrison: “We wholeheartedly support HSC’s work embodied in its statement of principles including:

  • ‘Green Cleaning policy should require—not suggest or recommend—that schools go green. The green cleaning market is mature enough that affordable, high-quality products are available for implementation.’
  • ‘A well-paid and properly-trained staff is an important part of every Green Cleaning program.’”

“The PC4HS program is based on implementing standardized, repeatable, cleaning processes in early learning centers, K-12 and Higher Education, and the Green Cleaning guidance from HSC provides a solid foundation to success.”

“We appreciate PC4HS’s support of our work to advance green cleaning in our nation's schools," said Mark Bishop, Healthy Schools Campaign's vice president of policy. "We're excited to have PC4HS attend our inaugural Green Clean Schools Leadership Summit along with other industry leaders and to share in the discussion about the future of green cleaning. We look forward to continuing our work with PC4HS to expand the movement for green cleaning in schools.”
